I have been sitting on this blog for a while now without doing anything with it. It's time to do that. My first post is fitting because yesterday was World Card Making Day and I have had a blast christening my new crafting room! There were a total of 11 challenges posted on Splitcoast yesterday, sponsored by various companies. I managed to do each and every one! It was such a blast to do nothing but play with paper. My room isn't totally done yet, and NOTHING is organized, but so what? I found almost everything I needed...eventually. lol
The first card I will share with you was a sketch challenge, as well as a color challenge and a theme challenge. We were to use the sketch provided, in chocolate and it had to be a thank you card. I rather like the result:
The second card was for a challenge that required a quote to be used. It was Gandhi's birthday on Friday and I thought it fitting that I used a quote from him. I also got to use my Flower Soft in Soft Heather for the flowers. I love how they turned out, and I expect will only improve as I practice with it.
The next card was for a challenge to "Think Pink" We had to use Pink, Black and White and bling in the card. I think my lady is quite blinged out and is ready to paint the town red, blue, green and
any other color she chooses.
I remember you showing me these. They are fantastic. You did a great job on these
ReplyDeleteMel, your chocolate card is fabulous! Love the lady with attitude too!
